- Stairway at southern end of Ellen Browning Scripps Park - look for 'Shell Beach' engraved on cement
- Look for green hut (belvedere) above - great spot to watch waves
- Cement stairway can be blocked by rocks - tread carefully
- Can walk south to Children's Pool, South Casa Beach, and Hospital Point
- Can walk north to La Jolla Cove
